Our standards of quality were established by Ben Hogan, over 30 years ago. the ta1's have a great ball flight, consistent distance, are workable without being work, and mis-hits aren't penalized that much. fere proud to report Hogan Apex is now the most played club on the PGA Tour. It’s easy to see the pedigree from classic Wilson Staff irons like the FG17 in the lines of the Haig. i don't think of myself as the guy that plays blades, but, i was amazed. The Walter Hagen Haig Ultra brand was the premium line from Wilson Staff, and one of their biggest moments came when Ben Crenshaw won the Masters with their irons.
I don't consider myself an excellent golfer. my first instict was to try the cleveland cg2's, which have very little offset, are a cavity forging and have a nice look at address, however, i felt like they didn't have much feedback. the taylormade tp combo's, the mizuno, and the clevelands.
